Adding a User in Savant is fairly simple, but the options are not front and center. Let’s walk through all the steps so that you can invite others to your home.
While in the home screen of Savant, tap settings, users, the large “+” in the top right, and then select the type of user then type in their email. Most users added will be guests.

Step by Step
Step 1
The first step is to find yourself to the main screen in Savant, and then tapping settings in the top left.
It does not matter if you have active zones.
Step 2
After selecting settings, you will be presented with this screen.
Verify that you are in the proper home, and then tap “Users”.
If you are not in the right home, tap switch homes and then choose the right one from there.
Step 3
As long as you have administrative privileges, you can tap the plus in the top right to add a user. If you are not an admin, contact us.
This is also the page that you can remove users or change their permissions.
Step 4
Each of these options are for different situations. I would recommend not adding any admins unless you plan on handing control of the system over to somebody completely.
Guest is the most common, and will be for anybody that is not a permanent resident.
Household is for anybody that will be actively living there, or anybody that you trust enough to have remote access to your system.
Step 5
All you need to do from here is type the email of the user that needs to be added. The other user just needs to download the Savant app and accept the invite. This will work on both android and Iphones.
